If You Think a Health Insurance Company Is in Violation of Illinois Law

Are you having trouble when referring your patients for specialty care because of the reduced availability of healthcare professionals in a given network? How about bureaucratic delays related to prior authorization?

If you think a health insurance company is in violation of the Network Adequacy and Transparency Act, the Prior Authorization Reform Act (which was enacted to significantly reduce delays for patient care) or any other law or regulation, please file a complaint with the Illinois Department of Insurance (DOI). Taking such action is an important step against onerous health insurance company practices.
