Not a member? Join today!ISMS offers more than 50 hours of continuing medical education (CME) content for members. 2023 is a renewal year for your medical license. Many ISMS courses meet state-mandated requirements with new courses offered monthly, which can be accessed on-demand, 24/7.
ISMS tirelessly advocates for physicians in Springfield and provides the tools to help members understand and stay informed on the issues impacting Illinois medicine. Annual legislative reports, legislative alerts, and a dedicated Grassroots Action Center all give you the power to shape Illinois medicine.
ISMS works with individual and group members to help resolve their most pressing issues. Members have access to our Issue Briefs and Medical Legal Guidelines, which provide them with the information they need to know about the latest rules and regulations impacting physicians. Plus, members can contact ISMS to get assistance either online or on-site with reimbursement issues or insurance-related questions.

While separate from the ISMS, the Illinois State Medical Society PAC (IMPAC) is the unified political action arm of Illinois physicians and their allies, and works to support legislators friendly to physicians and the practice of good medicine.
