Holiday Donation of PPE to Roseland Community Hospital Just in Time to Keep Healthcare Workers Safe During “Tripledemic”
December 15, 2022
A generous donation of personal protection equipment (PPE) is being presented from Amazon to the doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals at Roseland Community Hospital (RCH) this week.
Through introductions made by Illinois State Medical Society President-Elect Rodney S. Alford, MD, Amazon donated supplies, including masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer to Roseland. "The New RCH Family appreciates this donation of PPE that will support our passionate dedication to our patients and community," said Tim Egan, CEO and President.
Dr. Alford noted, “the PPE is still needed as healthcare workers remain on the front lines of now what’s being called the ‘tripledemic’ – continuing COVID cases, aggressive influenza, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).”
And he added a reminder to patients that it’s not too late to get your COVID and flu shots to be safe and keep well during the holidays!
