Retired Physician Volunteer Program

Volunteer today. Make a difference tomorrow.

Without physician volunteers, many free clinics may not be able to fulfill their mission of providing medical services to underserved communities. ISMS' newly launched Retired Physician Volunteer Program offers a great opportunity for retired members with an active medical license to give back to those in need and their profession by volunteering at free clinics throughout Illinois.

Signing up to volunteer is an easy two-step process:

  1. Click on your location in the map to find a free clinic in your area.
  2. Then complete the Volunteer Inquiry Form and an ISMS staff member will contact you.

If you would to learn more about the program or have a free clinic you would like to have included on the list? Please contact John Iwanski at 312-580-2416 or
