Open Enrollment for the Affordable Care Act’s Health Insurance Marketplace Starts Soon!

You may already be getting questions about the next open enrollment period for Get Covered Illinois – the official Marketplace for Illinois under the Affordable Care Act.

The open enrollment period for 2022 insurance will begin on November 1 and run one month longer than in previous years – to Jan. 15, 2022.

Patients can preview 2022 plans and prices shortly before November 1 by visiting www.HealthCare.gov.

Currently enrolled patients will be automatically re-enrolled in a similar policy for 2022 if they take no action. Since most plans change each year, patients can ensure they have the best plan for their needs by revisiting all plan options for 2022.
