Filing a Complaint with the IDOI Just Got Easier!

Last week the Illinois Department of Insurance (IDOI) rolled out its new IDOI Help Center, which replaces its old consumer complaint system that had been in use for many decades.

The new overhauled system will help the agency better serve Illinois’ healthcare professionals and consumers who file complaints to health insurers.

The new Center is designed to enhance data protection of consumers’ private information and to increase transparency so that those filling a complaint can track where they are in the process. In addition, the new system features a more mobile friendly experience when submitting and monitoring complaints via cell phones and devices.
