Sign Up to Administer the COVID-19 Vaccines in Your Office

August 13, 2021

High community transmission of COVID-19 is occurring in about 73% of the counties nationwide, mainly due to the Delta variant. Here in Illinois, the Illinois Department of Public Health, in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is monitoring the state closely for the spread of identified variants.

Last May, Illinois made accessing COVID-19 vaccines more convenient for Illinois residents – getting the shots through physician offices. A recent poll revealed that the majority of Americans trust their doctors “to do what is right” for them all or most of the time.

Physicians can sign up to administer the COVID-19 vaccines through the Illinois Comprehensive Automated Immunization Registry Exchange (I-CARE). For more information, access our webinar Administering COVID-19 Vaccine in the Primary Care Setting
