Health Promotions

ISMSA partners with the Illinois State Medical Society to promote health projects and programs. Most of these projects support the ISMS health policies adopted at their annual meetings. ISMSA also urges their members to volunteer in activities that support the other health related organizations in their communities.

Stop America’s Violence Everywhere (S.A.V.E.) celebrated its 20th anniversary on October 14, 2015. The American Medical Associate Alliance (AMAA) started S.A.V.E. to coordinate a national effort to focus attention on violence - a serious and preventable social and public health issue. Local and state alliances have implemented over 700 SAVE Today anti-violence programs in the past 20 years.
