  • Are Your Patients Asking About COVID-19 Risk? We Developed a Sharable Resource to Help!
    COVIDchart thumbnail

A recent poll of Illinois physicians assesses COVID-19 risk across a variety of common daily tasks, and the results can be used to help educate your patients.

ISMS partnered with the Illinois Medical Professionals Action Collaborative Team (IMPACT) in asking physicians to rate several activities according to COVID-19 exposure risk. Doctors were asked to indicate risk both with and without use of masks and social distancing.

The survey results reinforced that physicians believe socially focused events and actions pose a higher degree of risk. The findings also significantly underscore the value of mask use and social distancing to prevent COVID-19 transmission.
