Don’t miss this upcoming all-day educational program, Opening Pandora’s Bottle: Law, Policy, and America’s Opioid Epidemic, taking place Friday, May 18. The program will be offered live in Carbondale with simulcasts in Chicago and Springfield

The Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH)-Southern Illinois University (SIU) Health Policy Institute is hosting this all-day educational program to help identify issues and solutions to combat the opioid epidemic. ISMS is proud to co-sponsor the program.

Learn about the scope and impact of the opioid crisis; identify competing needs that arise in the patient-care milieu, including unmet needs and stigmatization; and comprehend how various solutions from the legal, medical and policy arenas feed into the overall strategy for managing the present crisis.
