ISMS’ Public Service Announcements on Opioid Abuse Hit the Airwaves; Could Be Heard Almost 50 Million Times!
Posted on: 1/17/2018

As part of our ongoing efforts to combat the opioid crisis, ISMS has launched a series of public service announcements (PSAs) that will air on radio stations across Illinois. The PSAs discuss proper disposal of prescription drugs, help for those struggling with addiction, recognizing overdose, and naloxone administration.

As of early January, 46 radio stations indicated they are airing the spots. The PSAs are expected to air more than 5,300 times across multiple formats. Based on listenership data of the stations airing the PSAs, the ads have the potential to be heard almost 50 million times!

A sampling of the stations airing the PSAs include WGN-FM in Chicago (news); WCRC-FM in Champaign/Springfield (country); WPBG-FM in Peoria (classic hits); and KRRY-FM in Quincy (adult contemporary).

Listen to the PSAs.
