Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS)

    • This paper will provide an overview of the PQRS for 2013 and beyond. It will provide information on how to report quality data, why to report quality data, the potential incentives for 2013 and 2014 and the payment adjustments for those years.

Most important, this paper will provide an outline of CMS' initiative to help practices avoid the imposition of payment adjustments in 2015 via an administrative claims process. Using this process will not qualify for an incentive, but it will assure that the penalty will be avoided.

Additionally, this paper will include links to all referenced CMS information, National Provider calls, slide decks, websites and other CMS resources to assist physicians in quality reporting, identification of measures selection, decision trees, etc. ISMS contacts will be provided, as well.
