New online course covers risk strategies for opioids

Prescription opioid abuse is a national epidemic. The Food and Drug Administration recently approved a risk evaluation and mitigation strategy (REMS) for extended-release (ER) and long-acting (LA) opioid medications.

ISMS and ISMIE Mutual are co-sponsoring REMS education via a series of on-demand modules, at no cost to participants.
