Access New ISMS Resource; Avoid Financial Penalties in 2015
Posted on: 5/1/2013

Of course you're interested in avoiding Medicare penalties in 2015. But do you have the time to delve into all the intricate details involved on how to do this?

ISMS just released its latest Issue Brief, Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS), for members only, covering the essential information you need to know. Failure to successfully report PQRS data or failure to report at all during the 2013 reporting period means not only a loss of the potential 0.05 percent incentive bonus, it could also mean a 1.5 percent cut in the Medicare-allowable physician fee schedule payments beginning in 2015.

In subsequent years, the fee reduction will rise to 2 percent for non-reporters of quality data. Therefore, failure to report quality data going forward may have a significant impact on reimbursements for services you provide to your patients.

Ensure that you receive your bonus and avoid penalties; access the new Issue Brief today!
