Preventing Type 2 Diabetes

The American Medical Association (AMA), in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), developed a new screening tool for clinicians and their patients to slow or stop the number of people diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes.

The Prevent Diabetes STAT (Screen/Test/Act Today) Campaign is designed to link the clinic with the community as part of a national effort to reduce the estimated 86 million adults in America with prediabetes from acquiringType 2 Diabetes.
