    • Hypertension Control Change Package Released - 8/7/2015
      The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in partnership with other national entities, have released the Hypertension Control Change Package for Clinicians (HCCP). The package presents a listing of process improvements that ambulatory clinical settings can implement as they seek optimal hypertension (HTN) control.
    • Abuse of a Disabled Adult or Senior Suspected? Docs Must Report - 7/29/2015
      In Illinois, physicians are among the professions mandated by statute to report suspected cases of elder abuse as well as abuse of individuals between the ages of 18 and 59 who are disabled and living in the community. This is an expansion of the Elder Abuse and Neglect Act.
