Statement by Illinois State Medical Society President, John F. Schneider, MD

“FamilyCare will go a long way to improving access to healthcare for our state’s least fortunate citizens. By extending health insurance coverage to the parents and guardians of the children now covered by KidCare, we are helping Illinois’ impoverished families fill a dangerous void. This initiative brings hope and health to our state.
