Tomorrow’s Rally in Springfield
The Illinois State Medical Society (ISMS) is pleased to see a spontaneous grass-roots response from Illinois doctors to press the legislature and the Governor to enact meaningful legislation to address the medical liability and litigation crisis.
Newly-elected ISMS President, Kenneth J. Printen, M.D., will be participating in the Springfield rally along side the Physicians for Medical Liability Reform, a Southern Illinois based coalition of physicians feeling the harsh effects of the high cost of medical liability insurance caused by our state’s hostile litigation environment.
This rally is organized and fully funded by Physicians for Medical Liability Reform. For more information on this group or on tomorrow’s rally, please call Michael Delaney, M.D. at 618-457-5555.
ISMS is a professional membership organization representing over 14,000 physicians practicing in all specialties statewide.
Dr. Printen is a board-certified surgeon practicing in Evanston
