The Illinois State Medical Society (ISMS) Recruiter Rewards Program benefits both ISMS and you, our dedicated member. ISMS gains another member to make our voice even stronger, and you receive a rebate on your membership dues!
You can earn a dues rebate based on the number of physicians you recruit:
- Recruit 2 new members and receive a 15% dues rebate
- Recruit 3 new members and receive a 30% dues rebate
- Recruit 4 new members and receive a 50% dues rebate
- Recruit 5 new members and receive a 75% dues rebate
- Recruit 6 or more new members and receive a 100% dues rebate
Here’s how the Recruiter Rewards Program works:
- As a recruiter, you are eligible to receive a dues rebate if you are an individual physician, a group of nine or fewer physicians, or a group of 10 or more physicians that does not participate in the Group Membership Program.
- ISMS appreciates the commitment of ISMS officers and trustees, but they are not eligible for this program.
- For you to receive credit toward your dues rebate for a new member, the new member physician must:
- Be a dues-paying member
- Be a first-time member or a reinstated member whose membership was not active for one full year
- Include your name on their membership application
Any physicians you recruit who join after July 1 and pay half-year dues will not count initially toward your dues rebate until they pay their full-year membership dues the following year. You will receive credit then for their membership.
If you prefer, you may waive your dues rebate and instead have an equal amount contributed in your name to the Illinois State Medical Society Political Action Committee.
Student and resident members are welcome to participate in the Recruiter Rewards Program too! They will receive gift certificates in lieu of dues rebates.
Thank you for telling your colleagues about ISMS membership.
Together we are a stronger voice for Illinois physicians and patients!
