Have an old cell phone? Donate it to a good cause!

ISMS is collaborating with Phones-4-Charity again this year in a phone collection. Your cell phone donation will help benefit the Educational and Scientific Foundation of ISMS.

The donated phones will be sent to emerging countries and areas in the United States where there is a dire need for cell phones to enhance public safety and communication.

Cell phone donations will be accepted at the the ISMS House of Delegates meeting on April 11-13, 2008 at the Oak Brook Hills Marriott Resort. Look for the drop-off box near registration.

It’s as easy as 1-2-3!

  1. Bring in your old phone

  2. Drop it off at our designated area

  3. Receive a tax receipt for your donation

Important Phone Drive Guidelines

  • Only wireless (cellular or PCS) phones. Cordless phones intended for home use are not
    accepted.

  • All wireless or PCS hand-carried (not vehicle installed) phones are accepted, but outdated wireless phones are discouraged.

  • The collected phones need not be in working order.

  • Two-way radios, pagers, walkie-talkies, etc. are also accepted and will be recycled.

  • Cell phone accessories will be accepted but do not carry any value.

  • Donors should deactivate their phones before turning them in.
