Call for Applications: Resident and Fellow Participation on
ISMS Councils and Committees: Deadline April 25, 2011
Resident and fellow physician members have the opportunity to actively participate in the policy and decision‑making process of the Illinois State Medical Society. A resident physician serves as a voting member on each of the ISMS' major councils and committees. This representation is extremely important as all issues and concerns facing the medical profession are addressed initially at the council level. Please seriously consider participating - we need our collective voice heard! Here is a listing of each ISMS council and committee, which includes a brief listing of their respective areas of activity.
The official term for the ISMS resident representatives appointed to 2011/2012 ISMS councils/committees begins in June (June, 2011 - June, 2012). However, the selected representatives’ term on the ISMS RFS Governing Council will begin with the May meeting of the ISMS RFS Governing Council (to be announced).
If you are interested in serving on one of the councils or committees please complete the form indicating your interest and rank preferences.
