The ISMS Medical Student Section (ISMS MSS) is an affiliate organization within the Illinois State Medical Society. The ISMS MSS is comprised of medical (allopathic) and osteopathic student members from throughout Illinois – eight schools and 12 campuses.
The ISMS MSS Governing Council consists of elected officers, a delegate and alternate from each school (campus) in Illinois, and student member representatives of ISMS councils and committees. The school delegate and alternate also serve as their school’s delegate and alternate to the annual and interim meetings of the AMA MSS assembly. The governing council normally meets five to seven times annually.
Members of the ISMS MSS are invited to attend governing council meetings, please contact ISMS MSS staff at 312-782-1654 or e-mail mss@isms.org
