Brief Biographical Information:

A board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. DeHaan specializes in adult reconstructive and joint replacement surgery. He is on active staff at Mercy Harvard Hospital, Centegra Memorial Medical Center (CMMC) and Centegra Northern Illinois Medical Center (CNIMC), where he currently serves on the Executive Committee. In addition, he has held numerous offices and has been active on many committees at CMMC and CNIMC.

Dr. DeHaan studied medicine at the University of Illinois Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine. He then interned and completed his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals.

Professional Involvement:

Dr. DeHaan has been an ISMS member since 1986 and a fellow with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons since 1987. He served two terms as president of the McHenry County Medical Society and is currently a member of its Board of Trustees.
