Brief Biographical Information:

Dr. Wilson is an obstetrician/gynecologist in Hinsdale and has been a member of the medical staff at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital for the past 30 years. He also serves as a clinical instructor at the Hinsdale Family Medicine Residency, the Hope Medical Institute and the North Shore Medical Education Center.

Dr. Wilson earned his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Evanston and his medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago. He completed his residency program in obstetrics and gynecology at Loyola University in Maywood.

Professional Involvement:

A member of ISMS since 1980, Dr. Wilson currently serves on the Council on Economics, the CME Accreditation Appeals Panel and the ISMS Political Action Committee. He has also served on the Committee on CME Activities. He is currently a Board member of the DuPage County Medical Society and chair of its Governmental Affairs Committee, having served as president of that organization in 2000-2001 and as chair of the Board in 2002-2003.

In addition to his duties within organized medicine, Dr. Wilson is the vice president of the DuPage County Board of Health, serves on the Credentials Committee of Adventist Hinsdale Hospital and chairs its Physician Wellness Committee. He is a Board member of Access DuPage and the DuPage Health Coalition, organizations dedicated to providing health care to the working poor of DuPage County.

Dr. Wilson is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Medical Association. He is also co-founder of the DuPage Railroad Safety Council, whose mission is to prevent deaths and injuries at railroad crossings and along railways.
