Brief Biographical Information:
Emery Lin is a fourth-year medical student at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and is currently completing a 1-year Orthopaedic Sports Medicine research fellowship at Rush University Medical Center. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University in 2007.
Professional Involvement:
Mr. Lin has been actively involved in every level of organized medicine since his first year of medical school. Within ISMS, in addition to his current service as the Medical Student Section’s representative on the Board of Trustees, he has served as vice-chair of the Medical Student Section and as its representative to the Council on Membership & Advocacy.
Mr. Lin is a member of the Chicago Medical Society’s Medical Student Section, which he has chaired (2009-2010) and served as trustee (2010-2011). He is also a member of the Medical Student Section of the American Medical Association, having served on a number of AMA-MSS committees, and has served as service chair and president of the Northwestern University chapter of the AMA-MSS.
