Brief Biographical Information:
Dr. Graham is a board-certified internist specializing in infectious diseases. He practices with the Springfield Clinic, where he is chief of the division of infectious diseases, and is an active medical staff member at Memorial Medical Center and at St. John’s Hospital, where he serves on the Board of Directors.
Dr. Graham received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, served his residency at the Jewish Hospital in St. Louis and returned to Washington University to complete a fellowship in Infectious Diseases. He also completed a fellowship with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where he served as an epidemic intelligence service officer in the Hospital Infections Branch.
Professional Involvement:
Dr. Graham was an ISMS trustee for nine years, serving on numerous councils and committees including the Committee on Drugs and Therapeutics and the Council on Economics. He has held the post of president of the Sangamon County Medical Society (SCMS), and was chair of the SCMS Community Health Committee. He has also served as a medical volunteer in St. Louis, Springfield and several foreign countries.
